The Babylonian myth of creation, traditionally illustrated, hand-written and printed. The art in this book was awarded the Hermann Struck Prize of 2019.
Translated to Hebrew by Shin Shifra and Jacob Klein, the story follows the seven tablets of creation. Woe and disorder ignite war between the gods which consequently leads to the birth of our world and mankind.
This 36 panel print can be opened into a 5 meter concertina or paged through like a book. Illustrations span across multiple panels and are divided by the text, seamlessly blending with one another to create a unique reading experience.
